Kidzone

What is Kidzone?

Kid Zone is a ministry designed to reach out to the children in our community – to disciple them to live Christian lives and to build up Christian values and principles. Every Tuesday we gather the children for games, worship and a Bible story or teaching. We want to help the children to use God’s Word in their daily lives and apply it to their own life situations. It’s good to see the children growing in their physical and spiritual lives!

What is our Vision?

To see growth even to the point where we split the team for a particular week into 2 and have 1 team here at the base and another team going up to Mandela Bay to work with another group of children.

We want to have a place where the children can play and feel secure during Kidzone. Currently we use the grass behind the hall for games and then the benches in the communal area for the craft activities.Temporarily it would be fantastic to have access to the ‘Kidzone room’ again, however long term and definitely by the end of the year we are looking forward to having our own space – possibly an unused bus or a container – which can be used for Kidzone and possibly also Homework Club.
